• Supervise graduate and undergraduate researchers on instrument handling and experimental method development.
• Proposal writing.

Research Scientist May 2006- December 2007
XYZ Corp., Any Town, NY

• Work with Special Sensor Microwave Imager data (SSM and I) to build up a continuous high quality dataset. Rewrite original TDR files into netcdf, and add satellite ephemeris calculated via locating appropriate Two Line Element (TLE) for reach scan line. Granularize these data into individual data files starting at the satellite ascending node. To date such a high quality, open and transparent dataset has not been built for the climate community.
• Establish all metadata standards for these satellite BASEFILES and Fundamental Climate Data Records (FCDR). All source code will be made publically available.
• Devised new methods of subsetting, manipulating and graphically showing these high resolution swath data within the Climate Data Analysis Tools (CDAT).

Research Scientist
BCD Inc., Any Town, NY

• Architect, design and develop interactive software based on Linux machine. Work on full cycle from requirements to release. The user friendly graphical user interface is also developed for the user interaction and visualization. Techniques used: C++ and QT and ITK and STL.
