My responsibilities include the service, repair, maintenance, and installation of heating and air conditioning systems varying from 1 to 20 tons in both residential and commercial systems.
Installations are of window units, package units, split systems, both gas, electric and heat pumps, ranging from 1 to 20 tons. Also includes running of new Freon lines, high and low voltage electrical, gas lines, plenums, transitions, ducting, drain lines, thermostats, sensors, etc.
Service and maintenance entail changing filters, visually inspecting belts and pulleys (aligning if necessary), visually inspecting condenser and evaporator coils (cleaning if necessary), check and record Freon pressures as well as amp draws on all major components, cleaning out both drain pans and drain lines.
Repairs include but are not limited to the replacement of condenser fan motors and blades, indoor fan motors and blower wheels, changing out condenser coils, evaporator coils, reversing valves, and compressors, performing leak check and repair, changing contactors, relays and other electrical components.
Experience in troubleshooting varies from window units, wall and floor furnaces, package units, split systems, chilled water systems, vav systems, water source heat pumps, and swamp coolers. Also includes reading reports and working together with offsite Energy Management Services.

Strong troubleshooting ability to resolve electrical, electronic and mechanical defects.
Proficient in reading and interpretation of blueprints, electrical diagrams and schematics.
Proficient in using electric multimeter, soldering and brazing tools.
